To my Brothers and Sisters within the Darkness of the Vigil: light a candle for the lives that were lost in the Falner Estate yesterday. Pray for their families, and know that the Lady is listening.

To my Brothers and Sisters who assisted Falner in its time of need: you have my deepest gratitude, from the bottom of my heart.

I have returned to Netsach as a Malice King. The need is great, and one such as myself must answer, so that the Lady may use me or dispose of me as She sees fit. This arrangement is effective immediately, and will hold until Grendal has been destroyed yet again. Godhand Dreyfuss shall take command of the Brotherhood in my absence.

I'm pretty sure that you have all heard the news by now.

Many of you already know me. For those of you who do not: I am Godhand Maes Mordechai, one of the original Malice Kings of the Methuselah. I come to you as a fellow Keeper of the Vigil, and to re-take my rightful place together with the Kings who have formed your organization.

If you need me, I will be at the Dragon Spires - I plan on taking up permanent residence there until the Lady calls me back to my own compact, and this does mean that I will personally handle the celebration of Elaine's Word on the Lady's Day every week, starting today.. I look forward to working with all of you.
